When sharpening your knives, it’s important to keep the original edges intact. Block sharpeners are great because they don’t tear or peel the steel like other handheld sharpeners. Instead, they hone the blade, leaving no nicks or burrs. They work on kitchen knives, pocketknives, hunting knives, hatches, swords, daggers, scissors, and even serrated edges.
