How to Use the Block Sharpener

1. Preparation: Hold the sharpener by its non-slip handle. If you’re on a flat surface, the overshot rubber bottom provides extra stability.
2. Pull Motion: Position the heel of your knife in the center of the crisscrossed rods. Use a pulling motion to draw the blade through while applying moderate pressure.
3. Pressure Control: Start with moderate pressure to realign the edge and gradually lighten your touch for the final few passes to refine it.
4. Specialty Edges: For serrated knives, move the blade side-to-side in the middle of the sharpener to ensure the rods reach into the serrations.
